(More customer reviews)The instructions do not mention that if you mount the unit with screws the tension bars cannot be released or removed once in place. We hung shower curtains with loops onto the rods and then extended the rods to fit into the mounting brackets. Once in place the tension cannot be reversed. We realized that they cannot be removed without cutting the bar with a hacksaw ruining the bar. This bar can only be used with hanging rings that can be opened and shut on the bar after it is installed.We just cut off the bar and wasted our money. This is a very bad design.
