After reading the review about the difficulty of changing rolls, I tried mine for the first time and was dismayed to find it nearly impossible UNTIL I remembered that the top is notched.You twist it slightly when you put the roll on, so you need to twist is slightly to take it off.Works like a charm.I didn't expect to be able to pull off towels with one hand as promised, but that actually works, too. A suprisingly good product.
